She hears guests beginning to mingle downstairs and so she begins to descend the grand spiral staircase into the main foyer. Many heads turn as she walks down the stairs, but she only has eyes for one - Chad. He’s wearing a matching sweater!
At the bottom of the stairs he greets her and hands her a bubbly glass of champagne.
She apologies for being rude earlier, and he says sorry too.
Nervous but determined, Kej begins to tell Chad she’s in love with him, but is interrupted by her mother, who clinks her glass - she has an announcement to make.
After thinking long and hard, they have decided that instead of selling their mansion, they want to give it to Kej - if she’ll move back to RedVille of course.
All heads swivel to Kej to hear what she has to say - she blurts out her answer before she has a moment to think about it - but her heart knew the answer all along.
“Of course I will! Yes!”
The crowd erupts in cheers and clinking glasses. Kej turns to Chad, who has a look of disbelief.
“I, I don’t know what to say!” He stammers eventually.
“I just listened to my heart.” Kej tells him.
“I’m listening to my heart too.” He tells her, leaning in. “And it says I’m in love with you.”
Before she can reciprocate he gives her a big romantic kiss as the camera whirls around them - swoon!
When they finally come up for air, he pulls something bright and red from his back pocket.
“I got this for you. Merry Christmas.” He says as he hands her the red envelope.
