Our “Big City Gal” KatErinJess Paige (her friend’s call her Kej) doesn’t have time for all the Christmas non-sense this year! She’s about to make partner at her big-deal job (or get a promotion? Or something? Listen - it’s very important!), but it means working right up to the holidays and not getting distracted with any of the Christmas Magic! She loves her job almost as much as she loves living in the big city - especially after growing up in her small town RedVille. It’s a quaint little place - especially around the holidays - but not for a gal like her with dreams! Ambitions! Hustle! Drive! But wait! Her phone suddenly rings. Who could it be?
Her parents! They’re calling to tell her they’re selling selling her childhood home (more like mansion!) and this is her last Christmas to come and celebrate with them the way they used to. They want Kej to come spend one last old-fashioned Christmas together as a family.
Her best friend Holly (last name Jolly) - who still lives in her quaint hometown! She’s calling to tell her that the town’s one big industry - Christmas stationary - is at risk of going under due to increases land values in the area. She wants Kej to come help save the envelope factory!
